Horizontal Decanter Centrifuge

The LW horizontal screw centrifuge is a new type of two-phase horizontal screw centrifuge mainly suitable for liquid-solid separation. It is widely used in soy protein separation plants, waste water treatment plans, and is also applicable for the separation of liquid-solid from olive oil, fish oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, and more.

This centrifuge offers high production capacity with low energy consumption. It features the best separation effect, minimum material loss, and economical installation and maintenance costs. The advanced slag-discharge structure ensures continuous and smooth solid phase discharge, avoiding blocking even during downtime.

🔬 Working Principle

The feed suspension is introduced through an inlet pipe into the feed zone of the conveyor where it is accelerated into the bowl. Due to high-speed rotation and centrifugal force, larger specific gravity solid phases sink to the drum wall. The screw conveyor, rotating at a slightly different speed, conveys the settled solids axially towards the discharge ports. The liquid phase forms a hollow cylinder and flows towards the large end of the bowl, overflowing adjustable plate dams into the centrate chamber.
